This policy explains what Postin collects and how it is used. Postin is a product of Universole LLC, doing business as Universole App Studios.
What Postin collects
- Contact details: your email, and the business type and posting habits you share on the signup form.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. Postin sees your name, email, billing location and payment status, never your full card number.
- Your content: the photos and videos you share and the captions created for them.
- Connected accounts: when you connect Facebook and Instagram, Postin receives access to publish to the Page and Instagram business account you choose, plus basic details about them. Postin never receives your password.
How it is used
Only to run Postin for you: to sort your photos, write captions, schedule and publish posts, send you account emails, and handle billing. Postin does not sell your information and does not use your photos to advertise anything else.
Who helps run Postin
- Stripe, for payments
- Netlify, for hosting the website and storing data
- Brevo, for sending email
- Meta, to publish to Facebook and Instagram
- An AI model provider, to read photos and write captions
- For Postin Scenes: Supabase (file storage and order records) and Higgsfield (the AI video provider that makes your video)
Each only receives what it needs to do its part.
Postin Scenes (video swaps)
When you make a video with Postin Scenes, you upload a video clip and a photo, and give your email. We store those files and your order so we can make your video, send it to you, and help if something goes wrong. The clip and photo are sent to our AI video provider to create the result, and a still frame may be sent to an AI model to describe the person you tapped. Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not sell your files, and we do not use them to advertise anything.
You are responsible for having the right to use the clip and the photo, including the consent of the people in them. To have your files and video deleted, email hello@getpostin.com from the email you used, and we will delete them within 30 days.
How long it is kept
Your content and connection stay in place while your account is active. If you cancel, your photos, captions and connection details are deleted within 30 days, except billing records the law requires Postin to keep.
Deleting your data
Email hello@getpostin.com with the subject "Delete my data" from the email on your account. Postin will disconnect your Facebook and Instagram access and delete your photos, captions and account details within 30 days, and confirm by email. You can also remove Postin's access yourself anytime in your Facebook settings under Business Integrations.
Security
Access to your pages is stored encrypted and used only to post what is on your calendar.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will update, and active customers will be told by email.
