What it is
A modeling video reel is a short video of you on camera. It sits next to your photos and helps a client picture you in their project.
How to make one
- Keep it to 60 to 90 seconds. Four or five clips is plenty.
- Put your strongest footage in the first 10 seconds.
- Show movement. Walking, turning and natural moments show what a still photo cannot.
- Film in a quiet, well lit space if you are making new clips.
- Put it behind one link, so a client can open it with a single click.
What to include
- Walks, turns and movement
- Behind-the-scenes clips from real shoots
- A short friendly hello with your name
